With 25 years of hospitality industry experience, principal consultant Rob Taggart established Food & Beverage Solutions in 2005 to address the growing need for reputable food and beverage and procurement consulting services in Australia, New Zealand and the broader Asia Pacific region.

Rob has worked for some of the biggest names in the industry in the UK, across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific - both in kitchens and in general F&B.

In his most recent role as Director of Food & Beverage for InterContinental Hotels Group's portfolio of 40 hotels in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific, Rob had responsibility for the food and beverage operations, including HACCP implementation and procurement across three distinct brands.

In the application of the services outlined above, Rob turned a varied collection of restaurants into a series of high performing branded concepts (Sirroco, Redsalt, Take Inn, Body & Soul, Seasalt) with a lower cost base and higher returns from patrons. As a consultant Rob was also an integral part in establishing the highly efficient IHG Australia "Virtual Purchasing Platform" in conjunction with Marketboomer E-procurement.
